W. Malone, James Scott and Dr. Bob Carter. L. Van Elliott of the American National Bank, president; of Kids Incorporated, and Bill Epps, director,also will lecture.The Amarillo College team and the West Texas Freshman unit will be on hand to give demonstrations.FORTENBERRY, an All-America player at WestTexas and the first member elected to the Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame, will talk on basic offenses with illustrations on such phases as the fast breakand screening.Malone, also an All-America at. WT. will explain defense maneuvers such as the zone and man toman guarding.Scott, an All-Border Conference player and holder of the national free throw percentage mark, 89.5, will explain and demonstrate various shotsfrom the field and free throws.DR. CARTER has been a successful coach at Amarillo College since 1936. Using his own team he will demonstrate various warmup drills forpractice and pre-game sessions.Elliott will speak briefly on the purpose of the Clinic and Kids Incorporated and Epps, a member „ of the Southwestern Basketball Officials Associa-| tion, will discuss various rules which are oftenmisunderstood.The lectures and demonstrations will be conducted on a basic level to benefit the youngsters.The Clinic will be open to the public and there will not be an admission charge.
