Bruins bury Neah Bay 75-56 Saturday nightWhat Is reported to be one of the best Clallam Bay Bruins” basketball teams in several years Unleashed a scoring barrage to bury Neah Bay 75-56, Saturday night in Neah Bay.Senior guard Clark Danielson lead the onslaught with 21 points,He -was backed tip by the team’s big man, 6-3 center John McNich-ois, who didn’t exactly have a bad night with 14 points.Just about everybody got into the act with a total of 19 men taking to the court and 16 of them scoring. Neah Bay had three men crowded around the top of its scoring heap with Reggie Irving sinking for 13, Bob Butler 12, and Glen Johnson 11,Other Neah Bay boys in the act were Skip Yoncher, who made 11 (points; Clint Hay, six; Dennis Smith, five; and M. Irving, two. Ed Ward and a boy named Brasher didn’t make any points.Clallam Bay used more men and more of them scored. Lee Nutter made eight points, Dennis Ku-ikucka and Bill Wilson both made six points each, Ed Tullock and Gary Rhinevault both made five,Rich Johnson and Ed Hall two each and Jim Jones didn’t make any.Clallam coach Ted Fromm said before the jamboree at Forks Friday that Danielson, Wilson,Kukucka and Tullock had been looking good at practice and it looks like the practice paid off.Clallam will play its next game at home Friday when they meet Joyce, Then they wilt be at home Dec, 22 when they play Neah Bay, Jan. 5; 12, 16 and 19 when they play Quilcene, Chimaeum, Joyce and Oreas Island. They will only be home once in February and that’s to play Neah Bay the second.The Bruins will only be on the road twice in January. On the ninth they go to Neah Bay and on the 26th they1 go to Quilcene. They will have four road games in February. Chimaeum the ninth, Joyce the 13th, Mary M. Knight the 16th and North River the 17th.The North Olympic B” Christmas Tournament will be at Neah Bay Dec. 29 ansi 30 with Neah Bay, Clallam Bay, Mary M. Knight and Joyce taking part.
