Win Opener AgainstGreencastle, 9- Waynesboro - Mpnt Alto High School's i Blue and Gold Tornado launched; Its 20-game basketball schedule last night with a 62-39 Victory over the Greencastle HighSchool Blue Devils. An almost eapaoity crowd, including a large number of Greencastle fans, witnessed; the court Inaugural of the two southern Franklin County schools.’ In the preliminary contest the kittle Tornado defeated Greencas-\ tie, 29-23.’ Apparently suffering from stage fright th’e Tornado’s offensive spit and sputtered. *■ through; the first half. It finally caught fire in the |ate minutes of the second period and Waynesboro moved into an bight pont lead, 27-19, at the half. I Waynesboro-Mont Altti continued in the* lead but several' times the Blue DeVlls spurted and threatened to close the gap.? Through the first four minutes preencastle had the advantage, 4-1.
