To Hold Girls’ BallSASKATOON — The 1947 Western Canada Men’s championships will be played in British Columbia and the women's finals in Winni- ipeg, it was decided at the annual meeting of the Western Canada softball association.Under the play-off system -adopted, Saskatchewan and Alberta will alternate with tlie Pacific Coast and Manitoba as the scene of the finals in each division. The association also decided to revert to its former name of softball instead of fastball. ’ .Jimmy Dunn. president of the Manitoba Fastball association, represented Manitoba at; the meeting.
