Tickets Remaining For UNLV Grid AwardsA limited number of tickets still remain for the second annual UNLV football awards dinner to be held Tuesday night at 7 p.m. on the Moyer Student Union Ballroom on the UNLV campus, it was announced today by UNLV Football Alumm Club president Bill Daniel.UNLV assistant athletic director Roger Bamson will serve as master of ceremonies for the event and the benediction for the evening will be given by UNLV running back Darall Moore.In addition to S3 Rebel lettermen being introduced, several awards will be given out during the evening's activities. The UNLV offensive and defensive players-of-the-Year will be honored as well as the MVP selected and honored by the Quarterback Club, which met weekly during the season Seasonal captain awards will be distributed and the scholar-athlete will be recognized as will the winner of the 1975 Doc ’ Tobler award, given each year in memory ofUNLV’s first athletic trainer The Fremont Cannon, symbolic of football supremacy in the State of Nevada will be on display dunng the evening and the real highlight of the evening will be the 19ft Rebel highlight film. Produced, written and edited by local sportscaster Ron Vitto, the 38-minute production is one of the finest of its kind in the country and grves all the color of the 7-4 Rebel season.
