Cadets Stay In Stands and Sing Famous Aggie SongFollowing the timekeeper’s final gun Thursday, climaxing the greatest game of the season for the Texas Longhorns, there was a mad rush of fans for the gates, but the Aggies remained to a man and sang the song famous in Aggieland, “Farmers Fight.” Yells and cheers followed the song, before the cadets left the stands.Showing a spirit of sportsmanship and a realization of Texas’ duty as a host, the girls’ rooting section remained in the stands until the Farmers had finished the brief ceremony.
