Harris of Michigan City has arranged a fine program for this evening’s show, to be given under the auspices ot the Interurban Athletic club in that city. There will be a grand double windup between Eddie Sterns of LaPorte and George Koerner of Indianapolis for the 145 pounds’ championship of Indiana, and Lew Curley of New York and Ole Olson of Chicago, both bouts to be ten rounds. Mr. Harris was very fortunate to engage the services of both Koerner and Curley to meet Sterns and Olson. Koerner is touted by Ed Bingham, sporting editor of the Indianapolis News, as championship timber in the welterweight class and this with Sterns’ reputation as a good, game two-handed boxer, ought to gire the boxing public a run for their money. In Curley, Olson will meet a tartar clever and game to the core. He holds the 128 pounds’ championship of New York. He Is at present engaged as sparring partner of Tommy Ryan and has been working with Ryan at Eureka Springs, Mich., for three weeks. Therefore, he will be in first-class condition when he steps into the ring to meet Olson. As a curtain raiser Mr. Harris has matched two 105-pound lads, Kid Klabby and Kid Murray, both of East Chicago, for paperweight championship of northern Indiana.
