Brainerd Blanks House of DavidsBrainerd, Minn., Aug. 31—In the first night baseball game ever played here, the Brainerd city team defeated the touring House of David nine Monday night, 6 to 0. More than 1,000 persons saw the game. Richmond hurled sparkling ball f,or Brainerd, granting but five hits and striking out seven. Grover Cleveland Alexander pitched three innings for the bewhiskered men with Grant and McLaughlin finishing.
