Give Life Saving Program At The ‘Y’Commodore Longfellow of the American Red Cross Gives DemonstrationsThrough an invitation from the Bar Harbor Chapter of the American Red Cross to Secretary LaPoint of the Bar Harbor and Mt. Desert Island Y. M. C. A.., a fine life saving program was conducted on Friday at the Y. M. lt;\ A. pool. Commodore Longfellow of Washington, D. C., and Bert H. Bachman of Bangor the regional exanlinev cendueted the program.Commodore Longfellow is the senior officer in the American Red Cross life saving corps and has visited Bar Harbor before on a similar mission.
