Alumni Plans UnfoldingThe annual Cowley County Community Junior College Alumni football game comes up Saturday, Seot. 7. at Curry Field at 8 p.m.At a meeting Tuesday, officials of the Alumni group said there would he no attempt at contacting players from the immediate area, hut it is hoped all interested players would contact Coach Harvey Hockenbury at 918 N. I Oth or HI 2-3419.There will be awards given to the Alumni players, including one for the player traveling the farthest to play, the one with the most future junior college football players, the oldest Alumni player, the player designated as the outstanding offensive player in the game and the player chosen as the outstanding defensive player in the game.Check out time for the Alumni comes up at 3:30 p.m.. Saturday, Sept. 7.
