The David team played here the last week in June, and the Belles suffered a 6-1 setback, but Sponsor Cohen promises a victory for the Racine team Wednesday night.Babe Is Versatile.Although Mbs Didrikson is of the athletic type, reporters have found her a rather well-bred young person, quiet, but bright and modest in conversation. She is a versatile young woman who, according to several who have written about her, possesses the valuable Irait of knowing how to get along with various kinds of persons.Other Attractions.In addition to the regular baseball game played under the House of David's $30,000 lighting system, the bearded team will offer the widely heralded “pepper’’ game and the donkey baseball game, with both of which Racine fans are acquainted. Catcher Earl “Oil” Smith will be in charge of the bearded team on the field. On their last appearance here Grover Cleveland Alexander took a turn on the mound but he has been supplanted by the one and only “Babe” Didrikson.Admission for the House of David game will be 40 cents for adults and 2 5 cents for children.
