GEIGER VS. MILLER IS FEATURE OF EXHIBITION GAME WITH WESTIESA real pitching duel is in store for local baseball fans Tuesday night, when the Rlehmer Oils lie up with the Westlnghouse Electrics of Mansfield. The game will be called at 6:45.The tilt was previously scheduled, but was postponed because of weather conditions.The Westinghouse club has been organized for over 10 years and during that lime has been prominent tn baseball circles. Both are former Newark stars, having performed In the Twilight league. Bill Dailey, who was Pure Oils’ second baseman last year, is holding down the same position for the Westies, and is rated as one of their leading clou tors. In a recent game with the House of David nine, Dailey hit safely three timc3 out of four trips to the plate. Along with Dailey will be Ralph Perrine. Mox-ley, Jimmy Barrett, outfielder and relief twirier, and Harry Dailey, brother of the former Pure Oil star.Manager Emmons will use Russ Miller in tho box to combat the slugging lalen of the Westies. In the last two exhibition games on the Jocal grounds he has been seen in his best form, tossing slants that have brought much renown under the Rtchmer banner.The combination of Geiger and Durant will be a stiff proposition, in view of their past experience in llie Twilight league. However, the two clubs seem to be evenly matched in other departments, as well as in the pitching.
