Seneca Countv Fair Promises Plenty to Entertain PatronsWATERLOO — Preparations are under way for the Seneca County fail in Waterloo next week. Opening Tuesday, night harness racing the evenings of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with 100 horses entered in six events, gives the fair distinction.The track is to be illuminated by means of a series of 500 watt lamps, with proper shades, placed at intervals of 50 feet on either side of the track. The entire course, except the home stretch, is backed with white canvas, making for visibility and defining horses and drivers in ! the brilliant light. !Saturday afternoon, the last day.1 there will be an automobile race meet with four events. The entry list includes some of the greatest dirt track drivers of the east. A feature will be a special match race between Miss Amelia DeMell, 19. of | Geneva, fastest woman race driver of the state, and a masculine opponent, probably Norwal De Lelys, of Seneca Falls. IThere will be field day events and drills by Grange and 4-H clubs, seven free attractions, two midways, an automobile show, agricultural , machinery exhibit, parade of prize I stock, three ball games, and an ex-i ceptionally large showing of products of the farm, garden, home and factory.
