I would advise the football clubs in this district to keep their eyes open for the dressing-room thief, who has already commenced operations and given us ocular demonstration that fee knows his way about. Last Saturday while the practice match of the Hotspur was taking place some cur or curs broke into the dressing room and rilled all the players’ pockets, taking something like £0 in cash; also watch and chain and sold medal, belonging to J. Knowles, the Spurs’ new 1 ack. It is to be hoped that the police will succeed in running the thieves to earth.■ ♦---
