, + ......... .Persons looking in the direction of the ball park on Sunday observed a cloud of dust, and thought a cyclone had struck the grounds. It was nothing of the kind. The dust was caused by the Aurora base ball players trotting all over the eight acre lot after balls. The Miamis broke Stein’s heart by knocking the ball in every direction. Bowl by made a three base, a two baser and a single. Fisher, Mysonheimer, Rowins and Bauer found the trade-mark on the sphere and knocked it for two bases. The Aurora nine consisted of four players from Aurora, three from Cincinnati and two from Law-renceburgh, and still they could not down the Miamis. Score—Miamis, 12; Aurora, 6, Base hits—Miamis, 9: Aurora, 6. Total bases—Miamis, 16; Auroras, 7.
