Hoon of Waterloo, la., brought him a ; draw with Eddie DeBeau of High- ! more, formerly of St. Paul, in the main bout of a 25-round boxing card at Wildwood Park, four miles east of here last night. DeBeau and Hoon went 8 rounds. Both had terrific punches. Gussie Schlaiffer of St. Paul Ko d Kid Williams of Soux City in the fifth stansa of their scheduled six round go in the semt-flnll. Williams’ gameness made him a favorite of the crowd.Jackie Shannon of St. P^ul beat Jimmy Welch of Sioux City in six rounds, and Blias Stransky of Yankton won by a technical knockout from A! Siebart of Sioux City. The Callahan brothers. Yankton newsboys. fought to a draw in the curtain raiser. Curley Ulrich of 'St. Paul refereed *hg card, which was put on in connection withthe Elks’ picnic.
