Grover Cleveland Alexander and his House of David baseball club who carry their own, portable flood lights will play the Erainerd citv team at New Bane park Monday, August 29.The electric flood lighting portable system, of The House of David club can be moved, set up and taken down, and transported from one baseball park to another.The huge electric flood lights can be set up after a day game has been played. This equipment can be erected in about one hour, and be ready to turn night into day. The large projectors are mounted on 50 foot poles and placed around theentire playing field. These poles are similar in construction to a telescope, or a fire department with its extension ladders. The lights are erected so they will light the ground as well as the sky. The entire field is lighted as light as day, and under these lights cavort the athletes of one of the most colorful and interesting baseball clubs ever borught together.
