If the people will but make the best showing they can the exhibits In all lines will be highly creditable. The stock crop has been good and this county now has some of the finest herds in the state. We should have abig stock show for one thing... lt;. * - *Some of til6 AttractionsSecretary T. H. Wadsworth has been in search of attractions, and with considerable success. - Ball games between the Algona Brownies and the Fort Dodge club have been secured for the 10th And 11th of September, the last two days of the fair. There will be a race program which will excite interest. A horse has been found, though not in this county, who has trotted a mile in two minutes, and the horse is to the fore. There will be a balloon ascension daily. The Northwestern Balloon Company of Chicago is under contract to send an aeronaut to do the ascension act, who will incidentally do some wire walking. The children will be glad to see the alligator and crocodile show. There will be a dancing booth, the concession having been granted to Norman Mayne and John Scott. The society will have a large display of sea shells in floral hall, some 200 pounds having been secured. The shells will be for sale.
