Striders RunIn Byron 10-KTwelve Queen City Striders competed in the Goodloe Byron 10-K race Saturday in Williamsport, Md. The race was won by Greg Shank, of Hagerstown, with a time of 33:05. The overall female winner was also from Hagerstown, Maria Pazurentzos, with a time of 36:20.Cumberland's Tom Langan was the second overall male finisher with a time of 33:10. Paula Bridges finished first in the 18 to 29 female age group with a time of 42:32. Lvnn Bridges finished second in the same age group at 43:55. Danny Whetzel placed third in the 30 to 39 men's age group in a time of 34:58.Other Striders competing were John Amann, 35:50; Royce Riley. 36:24; Gary Hanna, 37:45; Marvin Bridges, 39:58; Tim Farrell, 42:56; Dave Hutt, 43:48; Mike Laffey, 44:00; and Sharon McLuckie, 50:40.
