Four teams took part. The first game, Powerview vs. Hungry Nine, proved to be the thrill of the day. It went 16 innings before the Hungry Nine won out 12-11. The next round of Seven Sisters and Great Falls Combines, went to Great Falls 8-5. On the final, the Hungry Nine beat Great Falls 7-6 in 10 innings. All in all it was a fine day of fast ball. Bob Honke completed the notable feat of pitching 26 innings of winning ball for the Hungry Nine, all in one afternoon. Irvine Honke sure hits a long ball, checking in with two home runs. Ernie Klapratt seems to get better as he gets older, plays some nice left field for Hungry Nine.
