JCC Tips OldsWith 2-On HomerThe JCC is still in the city’s consolation softball tournament today because of a two-on homer in the seventh inning which won the game. The JCC from the blue division of the Triple “A” league topped Oldsmobile Sales of the red division, 6 to 4.The JCC trailed Oldsmobile Sales until the sixth inning when it scored three runs to put it back in the game. Then Warren, the JCC second sacker, smashed out his homer in the seventh, driving in three more markers. The JCC won despite being outhit by Olds-mobile 4 to 3,Oldsmobile was not without a home run. Deremer, the catcher, homered in the second to bring in the first Oldsmobile score. Olds-mobile had moved ahead in theksecond with one run, added two in the fourth and’ one more in the sixth-In the second game of the tournament, National Advertising of the Industrial league drubbed Quality Motor Frate 9 to 1« The score was already decisive, but Evans, the National pitcher, homered anyway in the last inning. Along with Boehmke, the right fielder.
