otarison Long Road TripBy Trie Associated PressHolding a lead of only one and a naif games in the Western league, the Topeka Senators were off today on a road trip with the knowledge that they have 24 games to play before the endof the second naif schedule in the circuit.^Fifteen of these tilts are road games, me second place Des Moines Demons, on the other hand, have IT home games left on their schedule.Series starting today* Topeka at Omaha; St. Joseph at Des Moines, Bartlesville at Springfield and Muskogee at Joplin.No league games were played Wednesday, out three of the clubs took part in exhibition games. The league leaders dropped a 9 to 2 decision to the Kapsas Ivlonarchs, a Negro team, while the Omaha Packers turned in a 10 to 4 victory over the Memphis Red Sox, another Negro aggregation. Howard McFarland’s home run with the bases filled featured St. Joseph's 8 to4 victory over the House of David nine.
