2nd league title taken by TriascoTriasco won the International league group five softball title with a 4-3 win over American Legion and a 7-4 win over Rossville No. 2.The doubleheader playoff sweep gave Triasco a 12-4 record in the International League and a 34-14 overall mark.Andy Schmidt had sue hits in the wins, while Joe Smith added five, including a home run. Mark Botos, Dave Botos, Mike Bohlen, Eddie Oliver, and Marvin Bonar each had four hits.Other Triasco team members include Mac Bronson. Dick Angst, Dave I’uma, Dave Stitsinger, Fritz Stitsinger, and John Lee. The team is coached by Jake Stitsinger.Triasco also won the group two championship in the North End Open League with an ll-i record.
