Sullivan's Tom Ridge (83) made an attempt to help McCammon but was too late with his block.Sullivan is winner of JamboreeBY STEVE MUDS CitizenSports EditorThe Sullivan Golden Arrows scored 15 points in two quarters to win the Football Jamboree at Linton Sullivan defeated Linton 7 0 in the first quarter while North Knox beat North( entral 7*0 in the second period In the third quarter Linton and North Knox battled to a 0-0 tie and in the last period Sullivan beat North Central 8-0.Sullivan defeated Linton with a 27 yard pass play with 5:01 left in the quarter from ToddMcCammon to Blaine Bolyard Sullivan had first poscssion in the period but ran only two plays before fumbling the ball on the Sullivan 27 yard line Linton ran off three plays netting three yards before punting the ball away Vullivan did no better on its next posession as the Miner defense gave up only six yards, forcing Sullivan to punt Linton punted the ball away to Sullivan again after three plays and was called for a 15 yard infraction Linton punted from it’s own 21 yard line andSullivan took posession on it’s own 49 yard line It took the Arrows only two plays to score from the 49 and it was also the first pass play used against the Miner defense. John Kixmillerbroke loose for a 14 yard gain Stephens tried passing again and missed the attempt before hitting Brain Meek for a six yard pick up on the next play North Central set the Warriors back on the next play as Joe W right broke through the North Knox line to sack the Warrior quarterback with a 10 yard loss Stephens w as not * to he stopped from moving the Warriors across the goal line as he went to Brian Meek again, this time for a 30 yard touch-down pass.
