LOT OF FUN FOR BASEBALL FANSThe House of David ball players, who are to play the Burlington Brewers here at Athletic park on Monday evening, Aug. 27, besides having the best ball club they have had for several years, are playing ball under their own$30,000 portable light plant. They also offer patrons the pepper game and donkey game which go on aft^r the regular game and Babe Didrikson, the world's greatest girl athlete, will be se**n in there firing the old horsehide up to the home boys to hit at.The donkey game, which alone is worth more than the price of admission, is one of the greatest novelties e\er introduced into laseball and is a riot for the fans rom start to finish. The players istride the donkeys roam or •ather try to roam over the field ifter the ball ai d when the batter hits the ball and mounts his donkey to go to first, the donkeys may have other notions and refuse to move and then the fun begins. Earl Smith, the manager, says the best way for the fans to tell the ball players from ttrn donkeys is that the players have long whiskers and the donkeys have long ears.
