Among the well known stables that are returning will bo Bill Kilby, the North Burnaby. B.C.. owner-breeder with ten head. George Hawke, the Toronto owner-driver will be back with 10 or 12 head and hopes to repeat his winning of the Gru-en watch for again being leading percentage driver of the meeting. Ilawke is bringing back J. J. j Mohawk for Art Pascoc. the camping tycoon from Great Bear I^ke and Winnipeg: also Prince Khan. I P.rigden Boy, Silver Ronnie and a new acquisition in Adios Albert, who raced here last year for Tom Linton, and also Adios Red. This is a real powerful stable and a colourful one.Rae Thompson, the Charleswood owner-driver. will be back withsome 14 head, all of which are in fine shape and will be a stable to contend with. Wilbur Thompson, the Wevburn. Sask.. sulkvman will be here with his stable which includes the classy Buddy Brae, a real local favorite, as well as being owned in partnership with Thompson by local enthusiasts Dave Halparin and Bill Kleiman.
