Bucher wins top eventin Watkins Glen racesWATKINS GLEN, N. Y. (AP) —Bob Bucher of Binghamton, an entrant of Woody Young's Bars Racing team in Lewisburg, Pa., has won the top event at the Watkins Glen races.Bucher, driving an English Lola over the 46-mile course in 27.12 at 101.47 miles per hour, captured the Glen Trophy Race Saturday. It was Uie top event of eight sprint races.The 40-year-old IBM engineer dueled Bob Brown of Huntington, N. Y., up to the next-to-the last lap before Bucher took the lead.Bucher and Brown led the pack in the final and most interesting race of the day-long program.
