Post 612, captured the Minnesota State title at Ely, Minn, with a 3-0 win over Wells. Fergus Falls also gained revenge in a fashion as it was this same Wells team that eliminated them 4-0 in the opening round of the state meet last year. This means the local Post in their 3rd year in the program have been in the state finals two years, as they were beaten 64 by St.JPaul for the title in 1958.It was a tremendous team effort that, did it as Fergus Falls got great pitching from Roger and David Olson who allowed only 8 hits in 21 innings and three of those eame in the opening inning.
