Mo the! came in on ' Youngs double, but Young was trapped trying to reach third on Hogan’s jnfield out, the double play retiring the side.'The Davids came right back in their half to drive four runs over •and cinch the issue. Hutson started hostilities with a double, his third hit of the day, and went to third on a single by Lowrance. Tucker's single scored Hutson and Lowrance tallied on Wykoff’s double. Tucker scored on Diaster's outfield fly and Wykoff dented the plate on Tally’s double to center. That was the ball game for Hardin staved off the colored boys in the eighth and ninth.The fielding feature of the day m*as Hogan’s great catch of Deistcr’s towering drive in the third. The aging Monarch manager caught the ball in the roadway to prevent a circuit ticket.Pans thoroughly enjoyed the House of David pepper game which was staged during a fifth inning Intermission.
