Talmagc started the ball rolling in the first half of the fourth. Busch singled, Guldi hit a homerun over the left field fence, making the score 2 to 0, in favor of Talmage.Came Right Back Ukiah Merchants were not slow in tying up the score in their | half of the fourth. Wada got a two-bagger, Campbell was safe on a fielder’s choice, Wada was safe at home plate on Ouldl's error and Meyers singled, scoring Campbell, making the game even L. Valentin!, leading off In the fifth, was safe at first on Mos-na’s error, went to second on a passed ball, stole third and scored i on Guldi's error. In the seventh I the Merchants put over another I run when Cane singled and scored on L. Valentini’s single. Guldi was safe on Wada’s error in the ninth, went to third on Laviletta’s single, and scored on Meyers' Infield hit.To I*lay AgainSever!, who was on the mound for Talmage, allowed six hits and fanned eight.
