Mark Salzman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Salzman. Dixon, will join the faculty at Pacific Lutheran college, Parkland, Wash., this fall- as an Instructor in physical education.Salzman has completed work for his master of arts degree in physical education at the University of Iowa this summer.He did his undergraduate work at Carthage college, receiving his BA degree from that school in 1947. From 1943 to'1946 he served in the Navy.While at Carthage, Salzman was an outstanding athlete, earning letters in football, basketball’and track’. He earned four letters in 1 track, three in basketball and one in football. In 1947 he was given the outstanding athlete of the year * award and also was adjudged the j most valuable basketball player His college major was earned f in the field of biology.
