¥ * *Racine's response to the Booster day appeal upon behalf of the Belles was not particularly encouraging to the club sponsor. Total paid adult attendance as 540. Al-tbought it exceeded by about 2.'»n persons the average attendance at the last three or four games it was far below the expected total and the team's financial status was little changed today. The forthcoming title series between the Belles, first half champions, and Kenosha, winner in the second half of the race, may attract more fans, however. A return game with the House of David team on the night of Aug. 29 is also being counted upon to help decrease the deficit.
