'Dugger-Union, NorthDaviess, Perry Central and Brown County will play at Nbrth Daviess, also beginningat 7:30 p.m1 At Sullivan, the host school and North Central, natural rivals, will play the first quarter with Linton and North Knox meeting the second. Linton will play Sullivan in the third period with North Central and North Kfrhx bumping heads in the finalrrfirtutes of the gameLinton Coach Dan Galbraith is going into the game with a Hook, see” attitude. “Everybody is going to play, we’re going to have a look at them and just give them a game feeling.”Rodney Robertson will be the starting quarterback for the Miners. Robertson will be joined in the backfield by Tony Ledbetter at fullback, BradWagner or Herb Abbott at tailback and Tim Stockrahm at wingback.Making way for the backfield will be Ken Gabbard at right end, Scott Stonehill at right tackle, Stewart Kirchoff at right guard, Dennis Martin at left tackle and Mark Gennicks at left end.Mike Harroll will anchor the Linton defense at middle guard, Gabbard will be left tackle, Martin at left end, Tim Stockrahm at left linebacker, Ledbetter at right linebacker, Stonehill at right tackle, Steele at right end, Jim Newton at right corner back, Robertson at safety, Mark Gennicks at left cornerback and Herb Abbott will be the monster man.Sullivan scored the most points in last year’s jamboree and looks to be strong again this year. North Knox is up in size and speed while North Central is bigger and stronger than in recent years.North Central Coach Dick Jones will start Gary Cormican at one end with Jim Marshall, Steve Shields and Marty Miller all battling for the other end position Tackles will be KeithMcCombs and either Bob Phillips, Mike Russell or Darrell Dressier at the other positon. Tim Drake and Craig Griswald at guards while Kent Halberstadt and Dave McDaniels will share duties at center.Judy Boyll will be the Thunderbird quarterback with Kevin Combs at fullback, Ben Price at halfback and Keith Chambers at a wingback.North Daviess and Brown County will open the North Daviess jamboree at 7:30 p m Dugger-Union will play Perry Central at approximately 8 p.m with Perry Central taking on North Daviess in the third quarter. Brown County and Dugger-Union will play in the last stanza.Union coach Paul Steele says his Bulldogs are in good shape. Steele has limited contact to the scrimmage line to cut down on injuries.Steele said he wouldn’t give a starting line up for the game because it is all up in the air yet. Union s first game of the season is on Sept. 2 so Steele is bringing the Bulldogs along slowly.
