He and his manager put up at the New Osborn House in this city Monday morning. He disappeared that afternoon.T^he manager, Irwin Silcoek of Bloomfield, N. J., has reported to the police that Griffo had taken with him a diamond rii%g belonging to Sileoek and valued at $200. A detective afterward found the ring: at 'a pawnshop, where Griffo had “put it up” for $G0. Griffo met SLlcock while he was training in Bloom-leld. Siloock has been managing him since last Thursday.The two stopped in Rochester to visit a brother of the manager. Griffo said he was tfoing out to look up Tommy Dixon, a friend* and borrowed the ring* He has not been seen since.
