Jones accounted for 1,260 total offensive yards, throwing for 967 yards and 14 TDs, while running for three more scores.Guard Clayton Suggs is the top reluming offensive lineman for WSSU, which led the CIAA in team rushing (246.8 yards per contest).Defensively, the Rams will be stingy again. They were tops in scoring defense in the league last year (allowed 10.4 ppg, and just 13 TDs in ’88) and were No. 1 in the CIAA in total defense (207.6 yards yielded per game).Linebacker Les Barley (6-2, 220) is the ring leader with 120 hits. Headhunting strong safety Donald Franks is menacing in the secondary and Cornell Wallace intercepted five passes and came up with four blocks on punts and field goal attempts.
