Jumped Into the Ring-New York, Aug. 18.—Tit ere was a liyely bout at the Broadway Athletic club between Tim Callahan of Phila--tielphia and Eddie Gardner of Wheel’ ing, W. Va., in which the Philadelphia -man came out victorious, as Gardner’s brother, Oscar, better known as the “Omaha Kid,” jumped into the ring in the thirteenth round to save his brother from being knocked out Callahan Irom the outset proved himself to be the cleverer boxer with a good left-hand jab, helped by hard right-hand smashes to the body and head. Gardner was the better infighter.
