Should there dtill be a tie when these four games have been played the two managers Will toss up for the town where thefinal and deciding game will be played.George Lawrence, of Hanover, and Calvin K. Gilbert, of Gettysburg, have been decided upon as umpires. Both will officiate at all games, the one taking bases and the other balls and strikes.It will be noted that the above series will give each town one Saturday and one mid-week game. Six games have already been played, re-suiting in a tie at three games each. The additional games will make the series a ‘‘best out of eleven” affair and will without question hold the interest of the fans.Hostetter, Small and Scherdel, of the Hanover nine, were at Gettysburg on Thursday to witness the Glen Rock game, while Stover, Hanover’s short stop, played for the visitors. Players and enthusiasts alike are eager for more of the same kind of games that have been furnished for the past six weeks and they are now going to have it.The Lemoyne game on Saturday promises to be a good one, that team contending for the honors of Cumberland County. It will be started at 1:45. The locals will play the YorkSemi-Professionals at York on Thursday, August 27, the day of the state P. O. S. of A. convention parade.Other games arranged are with the Chinese here on August 25, and New Holland here on August 2$.
