Allendale wins awardsALLENDALE — The Allendale School cheerleaders brought home the Most Improved trophy from the UCA Cheerleading Camp July 6-9 at the University of Evansville.The group also claimed eight Superior ribbons, one Excellent rating and the Spirit Stick on every evaluation.During the four-day camp the girls worked on sideline chants, cheers, partner stunts, tumbling and dance classes with evaluations after each class. They were also judged on incorporating some of their own stunts and tumbling in an effort to personalize their cheers and sideline chants.Trish Kemper is the group’s sponsor; she accompanied them to the camp.
