PaiettevlUe^nd Dean, Mr. and Mrs Ted Thomp-The Emerson school wilt open Monday, Sept. 1, with a few changes in the faculty.The music in high school will be taken over by Frank Shaw who Is making more preparation at Drake this summer to handle this work. The upper grade music t, 6, *t and 8) will be handled by the newly elected fifth and sixth grade teacher, Miss Donnabell Skinner, of Logan, student of Simpson college. Miss Skinner comes very highly recommended and qualified to teach grade music. The first four grades will receive music instruction from Miss Arneel and Miss Dixon. Miss Geraldine Genung of Gtenwood, graduate of Iowa University, the newly elected seventh and eighth grade teacher, will have charge of art In the upper grades.Registration for high Bchool students will be held Friday, Aug. 29, at the school building,A great deal of work has been done on the school building and gymnasium this summer and they are In good shape now for another year of work. The school house has been painted Inside and out and shows much improvement In appearance. New basketball goals have been put up in the gymnasium and the gymnasium floor haB been sanded and reftnished. A number of new books will be added to the school libraries this year.The faculty for the coming year is as follows; L.
