i DENVER, Aug. 14.—lt;/P—With first money in the Denver Post \ baseball tournament safe in their bat bags, the House of David club was ready today to continue its diamond barnstorming.A superb exhibition of baseball j j enabled the bewhi$?kered travelers |to win the tourney by shutting out the Kansas City, Mo., Mon-archs last night, 2 to 0, behind the dazzling pitching of “Spike” Hunter.The game, which was fast and devoid of fielding miscues, was the‘Davids’ seventh win in the tourna-jment without a defeat. The Mon-jarchs won four and lost two, their first setback coming at the handsof the hirsute champions lastweek by a 2 to 1 count.Four clubs tied for third placemoncv—the Humble Oilers of•»Overton, Tex., Eason Oilers of Enid, Okla., Los Angeles M. O..jand Fnited Fuel of Denver. Each won three and dropped two.
