House Of Davids Win Denver MeetDENVER, Aug. 14—lt;#-The House of David baseball club with a superb exhibition of baseball won the Denver Post tournament last night by shutting out the Kansas City, Mo., Monarchal 2 to 0, behind the dazzling pitching of i‘Spike” H u nter.Hunter, a rangy right hander, allowed the negro team eight hits, one more than his teammates scraped off Chet Brewer's slants, but he was untouchable with men on base.The victory was the David's seventh win in the tournament without a defeat.Four clubs tied for third place money— The Humble Oilers of Overton, Texas, Eason Oilers of Enid, Okla., Los Angeles M. O. and United Fuel of Denver. Each won three and dropped two.
