S. “DAD” ALBRIGHTComment on Subject# Dlccussed In Sport# Editorial# it InvitedIt’s All In Fun—Exhibition baseball games may interest a few of the fati3 but the major ity pass them up. •There are exceptions of course and the game in Pittsburgh today is an exception. The many thousands of persons who will crowd Forbes Field this afternoon are not going there with the expectations of seeing baseball. They will be eager to see Babe Rutli, Lou Gehrig, et al in action. They’ll b.e disappointed if Babe Ruth doesn’t plaster the apple down on Bouquet street and [ie probably will. If he doesn't the customers will feel that they have been cheated. Perhaps some would get the satisfaction of seeing Babe batter the breeze a few times. That has been done hut not often.Of course It is something to watch Babe Ruth drag fiis 200 pounds and more around the base paths and chase the “insects” In the outgarden but wouldn’t there be a lot more fun In watching two welt balanced blubs banging away at each other when the decision really is vital?Neither club will take chances that will injure in any way their pennant chances, Both are in second place and the irregulars will have to bear the brunt. If it’s Babe Ruth you want to see don’t miss it.
