HOUSE OF DAVID TEAM TO MEET BEIVIDERE OBEYS AT BOONE FAIR, AUG, 30-31Belvidere, 111,* Aug* 14—’The House of David ball team which met defeat here a few wedks ago, 3-2, at the hands of the Belvidere Greys in an 11-inning thriller* is slated to return to play the Greys again on the afternoons of Aug. 30 and 31 in the feature athletic events of the first days of the four-day Boone , county fair.Many of the horses that will appear in harness and running events each day of the fair on the half-mile oval at fairground park arc already on hand, Children will be guests of the management on Wednesday, the opening day. Thursday is expected to take the form of a homecoming for former residents. One of the standouts of the Friday program is the horse pulling contest for Boone county horses, the pull of each to be measured by a tractive dynamometer.
