The railway eoaehes over here are an oddity to an American. They are divided into four and five sections, each section holds eight or ten persons, owing to the size of the coach. There j are no toilets on the coaches but have j a chain running through the coaches with a sign upon the wall by it, saying, “in case of emergency pull the chain.”Everything seems very odd. Have not seen a buggy since 1 arrived here, but there is no end of carts used over here. They aie very nifty turn outs too; or some of them are, while oth ers are not.
