MUNCIE, Ind., Aug. 13.—The twenty round boxing contest between Eddie Sprague and Andy Bezenah before the Interurban Athletic club tonightwas witnessed by a large crowd and• •resulted in a draw. Pear of police interference, which had been expected, probably kept many away yet there was a large gathering. Sprague hadthe best of the fight from the start and• mm0pushed Bezenah bard, although his* 9 « '■ r ,wonderful guard and foot play wasgreeted by the applause from tiie% •side. Bezenah when thought to be out of the fight picked up in the last two rounds and made an elegant fln-iish pushing Sprague hard and inflicting much punishment. Herman Martin, of Anderson, refereed the mill, and-his decision was received without a murmer of objection. Both men were below the limit and were pronounced by Dr. Parker before the fight to hein perfect physical condition.1. *The mill was run with policemen on guard at the ring side to stop the contest if it became brutal. This fight will probably end the club events for the present and the mill to have been fought between Gus Bezenah and Monroe on Labor Day, will likely be postponed.
