Whiskers, MonarchsIn Tourney ClimaxDENVER, Aug. 13— (INS) —The final round of the annual semi-pro baseball tournament, in progress here, was to be played today, with House of David and Kansas City Monarchs, negro team, contending for the championship.The bearded team has won six games and lost none. The Monarchs have won. four and lost one, having been beaten by the bearded team, in an earlier round of the tournament. If the Monarchs win j the first game, to be played early ! in the evening, a second game will be played to decide the championship.The bearded players eliminated Overton, Tex., 3 to 2, and the negro team turned back Enid. Okla.,5 to 4 yesterday.
