MONARCHS ANDDAVIDS AREBEARDED BOYS TO PLAY NEGRO TEAM FOR TITLE INPOST TOURNEYDENVER, August 13 m — The championship of the 10S4 Denver Post baseball tournament will be at stake when the Kansas City. Mo., Monarch* and the House of Davidteam clash under the lights at Merchants Park tonight.The bearded team has not lost agame in the tourney, in which eachof the 18 teams which started the grind August 1 had to lose two contest* to be eliminated. The Monarch*, only negro team ever to piav in the event, has suffered only one loss—a 2-to-1 setback to the Davids last Friday.The two clubs won their semi-final games yesterday, the Monarch* having a tough time with the Eason Oilers of Eind, Okla., before winning. 5 to 4, and the hirsute contingent rallying late to trim the Humble Oilers of Overton, Tex., 8 to 2.
