In the north division, Medford won a 17 to 2 victory from Athens at Medford on Sunday. Brunschmidt, 'a Medford fielder, knocked a hnm* tun with the ha-^ filled. Medford nuthit Athens and scored at will, tallyine: in nearly every frame. Stetsnnvillo led all the way and found little difficulty in winning, Herman and lender furnished the battery oi Jhtatsonville; Rnngi-berg and McCarthy for Owen.Curtiss won from Thorpe at Thorpe by the tune of 11 to^ 5. Thorpe scored two runs- in the fir.^t inning anil led until the fifth inning when the Curtiss boys overtook them and ran away with the verdict. Osowski and Smijgy tur-r i.-hed battery for Thorpe; Peisng and Glenzer for Curtis.In the south division, Riplinger surprised NeiUsville by winning an 11 inning battle, 4 to 3. Gerhardt, Claf-iin and Zank furnished the battery for XeilUville. Johnson and Cioi\-e furnished the battery for Kiplinger.Loval’s Hope*5 WastedSpencer blasted Local's pennant hopes by winning a f to 1 game at Loyal. Peterson, tfpenccr’s pitching ace, tamed the Loyal sludger* and brought home an easy victory for his team.
