Canterbury, Auguft iWe hear there will be a Match' of Running a.c Wye In Harvel-Field on Monday nexr, from Eaft Kent to Wed-Kenr, divided by the River Stour; and that a Velvet Cap, valued at 7s. 6d. will be run for, forty Rods, by any Man that never won the Ten Pounds at Old-Wivei-Lees. To draw Lots and run Two and Two ; the fecond-hefl to have the Entrance Money. They meet at Robert Quefted’s at Two o’CIock in the Afternoon, and the T'yes to begin at Three.
