Hites observe 60th anniversaryMr. and Mrs. Walter Hite Jr. of Johnstown have observed their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Surf Turf Inn, Johnstown.Mr. Hite and the former Thelma Seigh were married June 29.1939, at First Lutheran Church. The late Rev. George Nicely officiated.Mr. Hite was born March 14,1918, in Johnstown, son of the late Walter Sr. and Margaret (Edwards) Hite.Mrs. Hite was born June 6,1919, inJohnstown, daughter of the lateCloyd and Esther (Bolsinger) Seigh.Mr. Hite retired from the former U.S. Steel Corp.The Hites are members of First Lutheran Church. The couple enjoy camping, bingo and pinochle.They are the parents of three children: Nancy, wife of Andy Peretin. Johnstown: Lynett, wife of Brian Kimmel, Seattle, Wash.: andRichard, married to the former Deborah Lux, Johnstown.There are four grandchildren anda great-granddaughter.
